Donate to the Welcome Shelf
ConnectioN Point in Lincoln has a new program titled "Welcome Shelf" where families that are new to the United States have access to a free food pantry filled with foods that are familiar and provide a little bit of comfort, with the hopes that Lincoln will "feel like home."  During the International Textile Show-and-Tell, we will have a collection table where guests are encouraged to bring donations for the Welcome Shelf.
Here is a list of items currently needed:
Cracked wheat, soy sauce, tomato paste, sugar, fish sauce, ground black pepper, vegetable oil, salt, rice noodles, chili flakes, soup base (beef, chicken, pork, or shrimp).
